Dr. Todd Britton is a highly competent and motivated technology professional well versed in organizational leadership, information technology, risk management, program and project management, and technology governance. Over the past 20 years, Todd has held many IT leadership positions in a variety of industries: banking, finance, manufacturing and, most recently, higher education.
Todd, a lifelong learner, achieved his Doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership and Management in 2014 where he studied Open Source software needs in budget challenged California Universities. Todd is a frequent invited speaker, panelist, guest lecturer, and executive education instructor in national and international academic, and business forums. When he is not working for the betterment of his profession and craft, Todd enjoys cooking gourmet food for his loved ones and hosting dinner parties. Todd and his extended family enjoy traveling both nationally and internationally together. A personal goal of his is to increase his fluency in Spanish and French.
Jody has almost 20 years of experience using technology to help improve student outcomes and success in higher education. Currently the Program Director for Student Administration Systems at the University of Texas at Austin, she is passionate about education and loves the energy of working on a college campus. Previous to this, she was with Purdue University providing technology direction for auxiliary services.
Jody holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from Purdue University.
Rick Penny joined Lakeland Community College in 2006 as the Manager for Administrative Technologies, in 2010 he became the Director of Administrative Technologies and servers as the Chief Information Officer since 2014. Rick leads operational and administrative technology efforts, ranging from the enterprise-wide resource planning system/student information system, programming, reporting, integration, network operations, servers, data center, customer services, pc support, help desk and major projects. Before joining Lakeland, Rick has previous experience with systems administration at Sherwin-Williams and S&Z Tool and Die.
Rick holds a bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University.
Quaiser Absar is the Director of Institutional Computing at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, managing University computer operations, which includes, Administrative systems, network infrastructure, employee support and training. He also holds an adjunct faculty position at the School of Business at Shenandoah University. Previous to this, he was was the Manager of Systems Integration and Academic Computing at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA, where, he managed the operation of the university's information technologies, fiber-optic network, and telecommunication services.
Mr. Absar holds a bachelor degree in accounting along with a master's degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Evansville, Indiana.
Louise Glogoff is Director of Web Systems at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona. The Web Systems unit is responsible for the public website, intranet, portal, mobile website and app. Louise has been at the College since 1992. Before coming to PCC, Louise worked at the DuPont Company, Penn State and the University of Illinois.
George Markarian has worked in IT and related systems for the past 20 years in various roles such as Lead Programmer, Web Developer and Software Architect. Currently, George is Systems Analyst for Nevada State College, where he develops custom applications, specifically related to Canvas and student data retrieval which is utilized in a front end system accessible to all students and faculty campus-wide. He also develops other custom applications as needed by various departments which improves and assists in day to day functions related to the College.
